So how bad is it? What shape is your bracket is in? Was it Gonzaga that sunk you? Georgetown? VCU? Wisconsin? New Mexico? The whole West region? And who the hell is Florida Gulf Coast? Tell me. I want to know. I need some tales of your misery to keep me company.

Here are a few things to help you take your mind off how bad your bracket looks:

2. The new ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ trailer is out. And if you haven’t seen it, you have to. It appears to continue with what the first movie started – showing the classic characters having a great time, getting to know each other, you know, bonding. I think one of the best parts of the new old Star Trek is that Abrams can pretty much take any risk he wants. You already know the characters aren’t going to die so you can sit back and enjoy the show. I haven’t been this excited to see a movie since…last summer? See you May 17th.

3. Top apps…for your kids. (Part of me hates writing this.) A tiny part of me hates that my kids know how to use an iPad. They’re spoiled. So spoiled. They can watch any show any time. They can play games and access entertainment in ways I never dreamed of. And good luck trying to keep your iPad or your iPhone from them. And since you can’t, you might as well have them doing something educational, right? Take a look at these ‘top five apps of the week’ from Mashable. And then ask yourself, whatever happened to Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?

4. What’s up with Pinterest? Look any different? I’ve been spending a lot of time with Pinterest lately, trying to get a better grip on how the analytics options are going to change and trying to be more consistent with my usage in general. But in case you missed it, some changes are coming, both to usability and appearance. Apparently they’re trying to do their best facebook impersonation. And seriously, why can’t all of these social networks get along? What’s so hard? Fighting over social share is starting to resemble a modern day ‘Dallas’. I better not say that too loud – NBC might turn it into a TV show, air two episodes, move it and then cancel it.

5. A cause worth donating to. Finally, your own private keg. You can get in on this! Featured at Kickstarter is the Drink Tank. This is a growler that converts to a keg thanks to a Keg Cap Tap. Head over to the site and donate now. And if you don’t want to donate, don’t worry – they’ve already hit their goals so this is going to be a reality. In fact, so many people supported it you can have it in your color of choice and get your name on it – we all win!
