New additions add depth and breadth to agency experience

AKHIA, a public relations and marketing communications agency, has added four account service professionals, bringing a variety of complementary assets to the ever-growing AKHIA account service team. AKHIA is constantly searching for and evaluating talent in Northeast Ohio as a way to uphold its high level of account service. The agency’s new additions include:

Alicia Gauer – Gauer joins AKHIA as a senior account executive with more than seven years of industry experience, having led a variety of consumer product and service accounts. Gauer earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University.

Gauer works on GE Lighting, Fomo, Parker Hannifin and Paylode accounts. In her free time, she volunteers for The Gathering Place, a local cancer support center and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

April Wonsick – Wonsick joins AKHIA as an account director with more than eight years of agency experience, specifically in strategy and program development for business-to-business clients.

Wonsick works on the Quanex Building Products account. She also volunteers for the Cleveland Food Bank and is a committee member for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Ohio Buckeye chapter.

Nicole Batchelor – Batchelor joins AKHIA as an assistant account executive. Batchelor earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University and has completed four internships, including a communications position at Obviouslee Marketing in Charleston, South Carolina.

Batchelor works on GE Lighting, Mr. Heater and Our Lady of the Elms.
