April 30, 2013 – AKHIA, an integrated public relations and marketing communications agency, has added three account service professionals and promoted an additional three from within the organization, bringing a variety of complementary assets to the ever-growing AKHIA account service team.
AKHIA is constantly seeking and evaluating talent in Northeast Ohio as a way to uphold its high level of client service. The agency’s new additions include:
Susan DiMauro – DiMauro joins AKHIA as a senior account executive with more than 15 years of experience. DiMauro has a background in marketing, public relations and journalism. DiMauro works on the GE Lighting, ACRT and Lauren Innovations accounts. She also is on the board for Girls on the Run of Greater Summit County.
Casey Milano – Milano joins AKHIA as a senior account executive. Milano has a strong writing background as a former newspaper reporter and magazine editor, most recently managing nearly a dozen accounts at McCullough Public Relations. Milano works on the GE Lighting, Fomo and Amtrust accounts.
Ryan Stainbrook – Stainbrook joins AKHIA as an assistant account executive. He is a recent graduate of Kent State University with a degree in public relations. Stainbrook will support a list of growing accounts, including Matco Tools, Quanex Building Products and Akron Children’s Hospital.
Nicole Batchelor – Batchelor has been promoted to account executive. She has been with AKHIA for almost two years, and has been a key part of factory launches, recall announcements and a variety of other initiatives that have placed AKHIA in a continued position of growth.
Teresa DeJohn – DeJohn has been promoted to account executive after nearly two years with AKHIA. Her account teams rely on her heavily for her media relations savvy and for her willingness to ask questions and put forth the extra effort to provide the best possible solutions for her clients.
Olivia Mihalic – Mihalic has been promoted to senior account executive. She has been with AKHIA for more than three years, and continues to make significant contributions on all of her accounts. Most recently, she has developed as a strong team leader, taking charge of several important client initiatives for the agency.
