HUDSON, Ohio—AKHIA, a Hudson-based integrated marketing agency, was honored to receive a gold American Advertising Award from the Akron Chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) on February 12.
The ADDYs, which attract over 40,000 submissions from local AAF chapters across the country, recognize outstanding creative work and excellence in advertising. AKHIA’s submissions represent some of the agency’s best visual storytelling from the past year, chosen for its creativity and impactful messaging.
AKHIA received the gold award for its Commemorative 125th Anniversary book for Akron Children’s Hospital, which combined the AKHIA team’s talents for copywriting and design into a beautiful celebration of the local children’s hospital’s long and cherished history.
“We’re excited, we’re proud of our Creative team, and more than anything we’re honored by this recognition,” said Ben Brugler, president, AKHIA. “Seeing the work we produce day in and day out is one the best things about working at AKHIA—and seeing that work recognized on a broader scale by our area peers is fulfilling and gratifying.”
