HUDSON, Ohio—May 4, 2017—AKHIA has announced the promotion of Angela Bachman to vice president, client operations. Bachman is a nine-year AKHIA veteran, most recently serving the agency as general manager.
With less than half of CMOs confident in their own attribution strategy, AKHIA’s president, Ben Brugler sees Bachman’s new role as an opportunity to support clients in new ways.
“Our clients expect more than strategy, more than a quality product or an integrated program. Today, they want all of the above—and they want it done efficiently,” said Brugler. “Service should go beyond what we do for our clients. How we do it is just as important, as our clients continue to focus on maximizing resources and an overall greater return to the business.”
As vice president, client operations, Bachman will have oversight of the agency’s core functions—account service, creative and optimization—as well as the onboarding of client-facing services and programs.
“Angela has developed and implemented several reporting processes since being named general manager in 2013. Our client teams rely on this information to optimize our clients’ budgets so they can show maximum value, not just within the marketing department, but across the organization,” said Brugler.
This is AKHIA’s first vice president since 2013 and only the fifth in its 20-year history. Bachman has been a member of the seven-person AKHIA Executive Committee since 2013, along with Brugler, April Wonsick, director of account services; Patsie Dionise, director, optimization; Nick Pfahler, creative director; Mike Lawrence, creative director; and Jan Gusich, CEO.
Bachman joined AKHIA in 2008 as an account executive after working in similar positions at Liggett Stashower for four years. She is a graduate of Kent State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. She resides in Twinsburg, Ohio.
